Happy 2010!

Happy New Year from The Wagstaffs!

Jeremiah rang in the New Year in Iraq yesterday at 3 PM our time, Central time that is. He spent it with the other guys he works with...smoking cigars and hanging out.

Alex and I rang in the New Year sleeping, which we are always thankful for! Before we went to bed, we had a fun celebration with my parents' neighbors. It was a very chilly evening so Pop got the firepit going and we all stood/sat around the firepit eating lots of goodies and making smores. Alex even fell asleep in the Bob for a little while and then he soaked up all the attention that DeeAnn gave him! :) We had a great time and are very thankful for the wonderful neighbors we have here.

We hope that everyone has a great year in 2010. We are excited for this year as Jeremiah will come home for 2 weeks in February and then will finish his deployment sometime next fall. It will also hold lots of exciting firsts for Alex...the one I'm most looking forward to is his first night to sleep through the whole night!! Can't wait for that to happen!

Here is Alex all cozied up in warm clothes and ready to go outside to celebrate!
